Our Littlest Loves

A picture's worth a thousand words...

Piper was 5 days old when these photos were taken.
It took a little over 3 hours to get these amazing shots.
Levi wanted NOTHING to do with it and we had to bribe
him with candy, toys and cartoons:o)!
Obviously we had a talented photographer because you wouldn't
know it by the pictures. We tried for a family pic at the end but
both of the kids were crying and it didn't turn out so well!
More pics to come soon as Piper is growing and changing,
and losing her hair and adding more chubby leg rolls:o)

Thanks and Giving

Just the three of us:o)
Levi doing what he does best. Playing with cars.
This year we spent Thanksgiving at my Aunt Amy and
Uncle Glen's house in Denver, CO. My cousins Jared, Marcella,
and Jordan were there too. We had a great time and an amazing
meal!

Amy and Glen just had their kitchen remodel finished
before Thanksgiving...it's gorgeous!

After we ate the boys found something to fill the time:o)
The weather was amazing, I think almost 70 that day.

A couple of weeks ago some wonderful friends had a
baby shower for me and Piper. I forgot to bring my
real camera so these are just a few photos I snapped
with my iPhone.

We have so much to be thankful for and we're just glad we can
give thanks every day for all of the blessings God has given us
and not just one day a year!

Piper Paige Miller

This isn't necessarily the picture I wanted to start with
but loading pictures on here can be tricky so we'll go with it!
I made this table cloth out of an old shower curtain I
had from my single days. I didn't want to part with it
because I always thought it was such pretty material.
I love repurposing stuff!

I love shabby shic:o) I bought the crib bumper but decided
that crib skirts are just too expensive, so I made one.
I just took Levi's old crib skirt and flipped it over and
sewed this to the other side.

Putting my new sewing machine to good use.
Made these out of some cardboard letters from Hobby Lobby
and some scrap booking supplies.
There's a slight bird theme in her room so I painted these bird houses
and made a mobile out of a cross-stitching hoop and some jute.
I thought her dresser needed a little more pizazz so I painted the knobs.
I had a fun night out with some friends at a Paint The Town
Studio and painted this for Piper.
Only 4 weeks left until we get to meet this little cutie:o)!

Halloween

Levi's first Halloween encounter! We started off with a little
something called "Boo at the Zoo". It was a lot of fun and
we met up with some new friends to make it even better!

We were going to buy Levi a costume but since we
didn't really think he would want to put one on we
chose to go with his mini flight suit. This was
actually the first time he ever wore it, and he did
NOT want to put it on!

This is Kristen and her little guy Sam, he was
the cutest monster cyclops!

Levi attempting to lift some weights with some one
from the USA Olympic team.
By far the coolest thing at this zoo, the giraffes!
Feeding them some lettuce leaves.

On Halloween night we spent some time downtown
with more new friends and their little ones.
This street was so busy with people that we only made
it to four houses before we turned around to go home.
Since it was a little cooler we put Levi in this "Tiger"
costume. It came from China and this is the first time
he's ever had a reason to wear it, obviously it was a
little small:o)
Levi is still asking if he can wear his costume and look like
daddy and get candy, it's hard to explain Holidays to a 2 year old:o)
