Ohio Trip 2011

We started out our Ohio trip with a 700 mile drive from
Memphis, TN to Forest, OH. The day after we arrived was
Memorial Day so we took a ride into Findlay to watch
their parade. This was Levi's first parade and he's been hooked
ever since!

We had a lot of afternoons outside in the sandbox, or
sprinkler, or baby pool depending on how hot it was.
Levi and the dogs LOVED running around the big
yard and going back and forth between Grandma's
house and GG's house.
My Uncle Ron and Aunt Jean were apart of an auction
being held at a farm house around the corner from my
parents house so we went over to see what it was all about.
Of course there were lots of things with big wheels and Levi
thought they were all amazing!

Our cousin Breanne turned 5 while we were visiting
and she had a big birthday party so we went to
celebrate with her!
Of course the adults always find a way to have as much fun
as the kids.

I'm not so sure Breanne's little sister Lauren was into it:o)
For Father's Day I got up REALLY early to go play
golf with my Dad. It was definitely worth it, and yes
I did play golf, but no there are no pictures to prove it.

Later that afternoon on Father's Day we went to my
Grandma and Grandpa's house for some dessert.
My favorite kind of party!

One Sunday afternoon we stopped by a little train station
so Levi could ride the train. He liked the first ride, but by
the second ride his lack of nap started to set in and he
wasn't so sure about it anymore.

This is one of my favorite pictures. Levi ran and ran
and ran that day. He was having so much fun!

There was a second parade while we were visiting
called the Tree Town Festival Parade. They also had a
carnival where Levi got to ride his first pony.

For the Fourth of July we went to our cousin Nikki's house
for a cookout. She has three little girls and some of our
other family was also there. It was so nice to see so many
family members.

One of my best friends, Dionne, got married to
her sweetheart Stefan in Columbus, OH the
weekend before we had to leave. I'm so glad that
I got to go, it was a beautiful wedding and she
looked amazing!

Another perk to the wedding was getting to see
some of my old friends from highschool!

One last celebration to mark our trip to Ohio.
This was a party for my Uncle Brian and my Dad
whose Birthdays were just a couple days apart
from each other.

This is Levi with his best friend in the whole world.
He has asked to play with Breanne EVERY day since
we left. She sure did make an impression on her, and
we can't wait for her and her family to come visit us!

My Great Grandma, GG, also turned 96 while we
were there!
What a blessing it was to be able to celebrate so
many special people and occasions while we were
in town. Levi might not have understood how
lucky he is, but I know one day he'll feel as blessed as I do
to know so many wonderful people.

We've been in our new house for 1 week now and it's coming
together pretty quickly. We are still going through boxes and organizing
but we are excited to be in Colorado Springs as a family!
A few days ago we found out that we are having a little GIRL!!
We are so excited about that and can't wait to meet her.
As soon as the house is in order I'll post again with some pics.
Love to all.
