Happy Birthday Levi!

Happy Birthday Levi!

On September 5th Levi turned 2!
We were so glad that Grandma and Grandpa
Wortman could be there to celebrate with us
for a whole week.

Going to have to get used to this whole
putting toys together thing...oh and all the
BATTERIES!
We spent a day in Denver at my Aunt Amy's house.
This is a picture of my Dad, and his Mom and Dad.
4 generations
A little family picture to start out our day at
the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Our first stop was the gondola ride. The views were
spectacular! This was one of our favorite parts of the zoo.
Mom and Dad on the way up.
This is the Will Rogers Shrine that you can
tour separately
The gondola takes you right over the tiger cage!
This is a shot of downtown Colorado Springs.

Our second favorite part of the zoo was the giraffes.
This sign here says that you can buy lettuce leaves to
feed to the giraffes and if you look closely you will
see who the proceeds benefit...you don't see that
in Mississippi:o)
We did not actually feed the giraffes but they were close
to touch, and smell:o)

We ended the day with a little dinner party including
our friends Chris and Laura MacDonald, and for
some reason I don't have any other pictures than these!
Anyway, I made Levi a fruit pizza because his favorite
food in the whole world is FRUIT.

Levi really loved all of his birthday fun. Sometimes
he still asks for more birthday presents hah. I tell him
he has to wait til next year. I can't imagine what will
happen at Christmas time:o)
He's really an amazing little boy, he talks constantly,
he loves to play with his cars, watch cartoons,
and play at the park with the "yittle kids".
He just went to his first "Mom's Morning Out" last week
and it was a big success. He couldn't wait to get in the door
and he never looked back. When I went to pick him up he
wasn't all that ready to leave and as soon as we got to the
car he wanted to go back to school!
We have quite the social butterfly on our hands.
Josh and I just think he's the coolest thing we've ever
seen and we feel so blessed that God gave him to us!
